Vid from me

I know this breaks my site design, but frankly, I don't mind.

Randall, that's a great tribute. I got to know your brother when we both started posting to a pro wrestling forum. It was a fun thing. But we mainly exchanged e-mails on the Sox and Patriots through the years. Ryan made a trip to Boston about five years ago and told me to meet him near Fenway Park before a game. I picked up some great seats and we sat behind home plate and watched the Sox beat Detroit. We had a good time and the time we spent seemed as if we had done it many times before. That's what your brother was about. We hadn't exchanged e-mails since last year. When I tried looking him up on the internet to see what he was up to, I was stunned. I am so sorry for his family and your family and just wanted to share my feelings with you and thank you for the tribute. I still have an old Extreme Sports Network t-shirt somewhere. I'll hang onto it.

Randall, I sent the link to this video to some other friends of Ryan's that worked in radio here in San Luis Obispo. I couldn't tear myself away from this tribute. Thank you.

I cried so hard watching this. I had dated Ryan for a while in College. He was always so fabulous. I will never forget him.

Randall,

I just came across this while searching for Ryan on Facebook. I can't tell you how shocked I am over this news. You brother was a remarkable person and holds a special place in my life. While working at 94.9 I got to know him through frequent call ins to the station. As we become friends he often used me for bits to on-air contests, ect. He eventually told me to come by the studio to meet him and hang out while he did the show. That simple act put me into the radio field for the next 5 or so years and catapulted me to a whole new arena in life helping to mold who I am today.

I had a chance to run into him while he was at Direct TV/Matrix Marketing in SLC doing something or another. We had a quick chat, he passed me his number and said keep in touch. Must have been around 97-98 time frame. I lost the number and lost communication.

I only hope I get the chance to visit him again someday.

God Bless
